There are many health benefits to practising yoga… but yoga can only get us so strong. Strength training is the missing link for enhancing and deepening our practice.
Yoga is what we refer to as a bodyweight exercise. Over time, this improves our muscle strength. And if you are someone who has modest strength goals with a greater priority on overall health, stress relief and meditation, yoga could be enough.
However, now more than ever, the yoga community is realising the importance of strength. Strength provides tons of physical benefits – from improved bone density, body composition, and ease of movement to reduced risk of injury. It's also incredibly empowering.
We're starting to realise that if we want truly well-rounded strength, a 100% body weight mat practice isn't going to cut it. Over time, we acclimate to using our body weight as resistance. At a certain point, we're no longer gaining strength with our body weight alone. If the goal is real strength, we need to add load.
So, we know we need to step it up. But how?
The StrongerYou program is designed to help you gain the confidence in your ability to build the strength you need for lasting, long-term health and well-being………… from the comfort of your own home.
Working together twice per week, my unique program aims to enhance your strength and control, improve your body’s alignment and symmetry, create postural and functional stability and make practising challenging yoga poses safer and more sustainable.

Experience the incredible benefits of strength training with 2 x 60 minute live online classes per week with me, for 12 weeks. You’ll also receive access to the class recording immediately after the live class for 14 days.
Each class is recorded and emailed to you immediately after the live class, so that you can continue to practice and develop in your own time, when and where it suits you.
